President John Dramani Mahama is set to embark on a nationwide tour beginning March 18 to inspect ongoing government projects and assess their progress.
The initiative, dubbed the “Resetting Ghana Tour,” is aimed at strengthening engagement between the government and citizens, while providing updates on key national policies and development efforts.
The tour will kick off in the Bono Region, with participation from regional ministers, local government officials, and other stakeholders.
Speaking during a visit by Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang to the Office of Government Communications, the Minister of Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, said the tour will offer a practical opportunity to assess projects across the country.
He noted that the President is taking a direct approach by personally leading the “Resetting Ghana Project,” rather than relying solely on briefings from ministers at the presidency.
According to him, the exercise will involve ministers, regional officials, district chief executives, and local leaders, as well as engagements with traditional authorities, opinion leaders, and community stakeholders nationwide.
