President John Dramani Mahama today, Tuesday, May 20, swore in new members of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC).
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony President Mahama acknowledged the challenges the new appointees would face and advocated for a unified national development plan to tackle Ghana’s economic challenges and structural constraints, focusing on progress and the future.
He however, expressed full confidence in their abilities.
“The tasks before you are immense but I am confident in your collective expertise, experience, and commitment” he said.
The President called on members to collaborate on a comprehensive and bold national development plan while congratulating and wishing them success in their new roles.
“Let us work together to deliver a development plan that charges forward with boldness, a collective vision for our dear nation Ghana, and one that will guide future generations and liberate us from the limitations of our past”.
“I congratulate you on your appointment, and I wish you success in the work ahead. May your efforts be fruitful and guide Ghana into a future of immeasurable possibilities” he stated.
