Former Ghana Football Association boss, Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe insists referees have destroyed Ghana football.
Tamakloe explained that the knight of the whistle in Ghana are not doing their job well as they have contributed to the decline of Ghana football.
“The failure of our football in the country now is due to referees. Supporters are no longer coming to the stadium nowadays all because of the attitude of referees in this country.” Tamakloe stated during Accra Hearts of Oak Press Conference ahead of the MTN FA Cup finals with Kotoko.
“Look at what happened to one of our players in one of the recent matches where referee engaged him in a brawl. How can this happen?”
“Referees must be blamed for the current poor nature of our football.”
Kotoko and Hearts will lock face each other in an MTN FA Cup grand finale this coming Sunday.
