Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are on the verge of signing Burkina Faso teenage sensation Mohammed Kahan, according to media reports.

reports in the media suggest that the Porcupine Warriors have finalized the negotiations with the youngster’s club Rail Club de Kadiogo, and he is set to pen a long term contract in the coming days.

The 20-year-old forward will team up with his compatriot Sogne Yacouba in attack should he put pen to paper.

Kahan is a member of Burkina Faso’s U-20 national team.

Asante Kotoko are keen to bolster their squad after qualifying to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time in 11-years.

The Porcupine Warriors have been drawn in Group C against Zambian sides Zesco United and Nkana as well as Sudanese side Al Hilal.

Kotoko will open their campaign with an away trip to Libya to square off against Al Hilal on Sunday, February 3.
