Happy Sports can exclusively report that Accra Hearts of Oak are set to release 8 players from their roaster after surviving relegation in the just ended 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians endured a terrific campaign as they needed a late 3-2 victory over Bechem United on the final day of the season to be able to secure their status as a Premier League club for next season.

The club will be making a total overhaul of the first team as they seek to avoid another disaster in the upcoming season and three experience players have been cut.

Happy Sports’ sources have revealed that experienced goalkeepers Richmond Ayi, Richard Atta are amongst the 8 players who have been released by Hearts of Oak.

Zakaria Yakubu, Seidu Suraj, Ramos Kashala, Liventus Arthur and Issah Kuka who joined the club before the start of the 2023/2024 Premier League season have all been released by the club.
