Black Stars striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom has joined Polish side Gornik Zabrze until the end of the current season.
The 27-year-old joined the Polish side on a free contract after leaving Red Star Belgrade in December after the expiration of his contract.
Boakye-Yiadom completed his move on Tuesday after passing medicals and put pen to the paper.
The club’s official statement reads “Richmond Boakye has become the newest footballer of Górnik Zabrze. The Ghana national forward has a contract with the club binding at least until the end of the current season”

Boakye Yiadom has rich experience in European football, having played for Juventus, US Sassuolo, Latina, Atalanta, Genoa – all in Italy has now moved to Poland to continue his career.
He also featured for Chinese club Jiangsu Suning, Spanish side Elche and Roda JC of Holland.
“Behind us are a few very intense days of hard work, which ended with success. Needless to say, bringing such a player is not commonplace. I dare say that after 1989, a footballer with such “papers”, with such a CV did not come to Górnik – says club president Dariusz Czernik after Boakye’s acquisition.
