The 16-year-old son of Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako, the Founder and General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, Elrad Amoako, has received a six-month sentence at the Senior Correctional Center.

This follows his guilty plea to eight charges, including two counts of manslaughter, for the tragic road accident that happened on October 12 in East Legon which claimed the lives of two 12-year-olds.

Investigations revealed that, Elrad Amoako who was driving without a valid license, lost control of the car, leading to the fatal accident.

Following his arrest, the teenager was charged with multiple offenses, including two counts of manslaughter and other related charges.

During his court appearance, he pleaded guilty to eight of the charges, prompting the court to issue a six-month custodial sentence at the Senior Correctional Center.

The incident sparked outrage among the public, with calls for stricter enforcement of driving laws and better parental supervision to prevent underaged children from driving.
