Sarkodie wins first 2019 BET International Flow award

Multiple award winning Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur Micheal Owusu Addo popularly know as Sarkodie has emerged as overall winner of the first ever Best International Flow category at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards.

Sarkodie has taken the new category this year dubbed best international flow that will highlight artists from different countries such as Nigeria, UK, France, South Africa, Ghana and Canada.

In his acceptance speech, Sarkodie dedicated the award to his daughter ,Titi and also took the opportunity to urge the world to visit Ghana as part of the Year Of Return celebrations.
He also acknowledged Akon who was in the audience.

Sarkodie was in the same category with Falz (Nigeria), Ghetts (U.K.), Kalash (France), Lil Simz (U.K.), Nasty C (South Africa) and Tory Lanez (Canada).

The 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards happened on Oct. 5, at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Center after vacationing in Miami for the last two years.
