On Saturday May 18, hundreds of people in Accra who had signed up to be part of the 2019 Live Inside and Win the Ride (LIWTR) reality show were auditioned at the Accra Mall Food Court.
It was a beautiful sight to behold at the Accra Mall Food Court as the prospective contestants for the LIWTR reality show the tried to convince the three judges by exhibiting their talents at the auditions. Those who succeeded in convincing the judges were given the nod. The excitement continued on Sunday May 19, as the second batch on potential contestants were auditioned at the same venue.
Patrons of Accra Mall were not left out as they trooped in to the Food Court to catch some entertainment from the Live Inside and Win the Ride auditions.
The judges who took the prospective contestants through various drills on both Saturday and Sunday were Happy FM’s Award winning Radio Presenter, DJ Advicer; Global Media Alliance’s Public Relations Account Manager, Mrs. Eunice Tornyi and Award winning Comedian, Derick Kobinna Bonney (DKB).
According to organizers, the audition phase is to help shortlist contestants around the golden triangle in Ghana – Kumasi , Takoradi and Accra – as the reality show gets ready to kick start on June 7. Following the Accra auditions, the train will be moving to the Kumasi Mall on May 22 and also to Takoradi Mall on May 24.
Commenting about the LIWTR Accra auditions, Ese Adjabeng, Project Manager for LIWTR reality show said “ Our judges had a difficult task but did a great job auditioning all the people. The multitude of people who also came to be auditioned did very well by comporting themselves throughout the entire process. We look forward to yet another exciting auditions at Kumasi and Takoradi as we get closer to choosing the 5 who would live in the car.”
The concept of LIWTR competition by Global Media Alliance Group, owners of YFM, Happy FM and e. TV Ghana, is to bring together five individuals from different backgrounds across the country to endure sitting together in a Renault Duster SUV. During that period, contestants are evicted till there is one person left. The ‘last man/woman standing’ wins the car.
