Security expert Adib Sani says the Ghanaian prophet Jesus Ahuofe who predicted Shatta Wale’s death is not free from blame in matters arising.

Adib explained that his prophecy could have triggered a lot of violent responses from others which could have put the life of the dancehall singer in danger.

Speaking in an interview with Sefah-Danquah on the Happy Morning Show, he explained his point with a scenario when he said: “Ghanaians are highly religious people who hold in high esteem our mallams and pastors. So, say this prophet says someone is dying tomorrow and the time is fast approaching and yet nothing is happening, a loyal member of the prophet’s church can follow up on the prophet’s words and execute the action. This may be so that the pastor’s name does not go into disrepute.”

Based on this scenario, Adib Sani noted that the prophet’s prophecy posed a threat to the artiste in question.
The security expert was not happy about how the country deals with these prophetic sayings that put people’s lives in danger.

“We cannot underestimate the seriousness of the threat that prophecies pose to us as a country. Unfortunately, and most disappointingly, we have decided to ignore it completely, fold our arms and pretend that it is nothing but it is becoming too much and many people might get hurt as a result of this so-called prophecies. In my view, these prophecies are direct unbridled threats on any individual,” he added.

Bishop Stephen Kwesi Appiah of New Life Kingdom Chapel also known as Jesus Ahuofe was arrested in connection to a prophecy that dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, would be shot on October 18, 2021.

On the evening of October 18, 2021, there were reports that Shatta Wale had been shot by some unknown gunmen.

But in a lengthy Facebook post on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, Shatta Wale apologized to his fans saying he had lied about the incident.

He said he took the phones of the team members and made the post.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of the dancehall artiste in a social media post.

Two others in the persons of the artiste’s Public Relations Manager, Kojo Owusu Koranteng, also known as Nana Dope and Eric Venator, alias Gangee are also in police custody for spreading false information in connection with the alleged gun attack on Shatta Wale.
