The Tema Regional Police Command has arrested seven individuals, including two juveniles, in connection with a robbery that occurred at Sakasska Park and Dagomba Junction in Ashaiman, Greater Accra Region.

With the support of local residents, police swiftly apprehended suspects Moses Kwame Helu and Jonathan Osabutey at the scene.

Further intelligence-led operations led to the arrest of Robert Amekudzi and a juvenile in possession of the stolen backpack and laptop.

Press statement released by the police today, June 23, 2025, indicated that subsequent arrests included Bernard Dzumador and another juvenile found with the stolen iPhone and Samsung device.

All suspects are currently in custody assisting with investigations and are expected to be arraigned in court soon, according to a statement signed by ASP Dede Dzakpasu, Head of Public Affairs for the Tema region.
