Shatta Wale thrills thousands of fans at 2024 Area Codes Jam

Legon City Mall was transformed into a hub of music as award winning music superstar and King of Dancehall, Shatta Wale took center stage at the 2024 edition of the YFM Area Codes Jam.

The event organized by YFM drew in thousands of music enthusiasts including students from tertiary institutions in the capital who were treated to unforgettable night of entertainment and fun.

Area Codes Jam is an annual entertainment show held in some selected communities around the country. The community entertainment show put together by YFM lit up the Legon City Mall with excitement.

Known for his superb performances, Shatta Wale as the headlining artiste commanded the night with a high energy performance, setting the tone for what was expected. The ‘Ayoo’ hit maker had the crowd chanting and singing along to every song he performed.

Shatta Wale showed no signs of slowing down, delivering hit after hit with passion and energy, he set the whole atmosphere into a frenzy of movement and cheers.

Performing hit songs like, “My level”, “Melissa”,Mahama paper”, “Gringo”, “Freedom”, Freedom” charged up the atmosphere, making the crowd reluctant to let the music end.

Moved by the love and support for the SM for Life Movement, the renowned artiste took a moment to thank all his fans for their dedication and commitment to the Shatta brand.

He used the opportunity to share nuggets such as “if you want to make money, work hard”, “The best person to fight is the economy, not your brother”, with fans, mentioning God as the ultimate helper in every situation.

Other acts who thrilled patrons with their energetic performances at the event were Twitch, Kwaku Winner, Lenux among others. Also bursting with energy, they dished out hit songs to the delight of patrons.

Celebrated DJs and Hypemen who also performed at the event included DJ Loft, DJ Kess, DJ Cuebeatz, Kojo Manuel and AJ Princess.

The YFM Independence Day festival was proudly sponsored by Dosh Insurance, Ebony Condoms, and Eddys Pizza, Blue Jeans, PMI, Happy FM, Ghana Beverage Awards, E-Productions, Legon City Mall and YTV.
