Ghanaian singer and TV personality, Daniel Neequaye Kotey popularly known by his stage name Klala has brought to the stand that some of Ghana’s radio presenters need to acquire wisdom.

According to him, radio presenters used to chase musicians just to play their songs, and that was because they did good music. The work they did were a masterpiece.

The singer believes that most artists these days, will do just any song and add money to it, but radio presenters will play it, be it a good song or a bad song.

In an interview with Foster Romanus on e.TV Ghana’s Late Nite Celebrity show, he said, in our recent lives today, most of our radio presenters will not focus on songs that will change the lives of people but rather they focus on what is trending.

He however stated that some of our radio presenters need to learn how to be truthful to the musicians. They need to be able to tell them when their songs are not good.

“ You give your CD to a radio presenter and because he respects you he will say that I will play it for you. Knowing perfectly well that the song isn’t up to standard. The DJ will play it once and that is it”, he said.
