Ghanaian beat maker cum musician, Spanky Beatz, has revealed how his career as a music producer started.

According to him, he used to be a singer before deciding to go into beat making.

“When I started doing music, I felt I was being punished for always going to the studio to record because of the stress that came with chasing producers and all that.”

He stated that, “although you pay them with the little money you have, they still toss you and never finish working on your beats. so, I decided to do something about it.

In an interview with Doctar Cann on Happy 98.9FM’s Ayekoo After Drive Show, Spanky Beatz said, “With my interest in technology, I was able to find my way with the use of computers, so, I just found a software I could use to make beats and that helped me.”

He furthered that all it took him was to download a software called the FL studio and started working his way around it.

“It was good and I loved the beats I was making. My friends also kept encouraging me that I could do it, so, I also had to find online courses that taught me beat making and here I am today,” he added.

Spanky Beatz disclosed that he loves what he does and has so far worked with some amazing Ghanaian artistes like: Gasmilla, Adane Best, Ras Kuku and many others.
