Award-winning entertainment presenter and programmes manager for Accra FM, Kojo Preko Darkwa, has said that Ghanaians must stop chastising dancehall artiste Stonebwoy for his seemingly quick temper and rather help the musician if we feel he has anger issues.

He made this pronouncement on Happy FM’s ‘Showbiz Xtra’ show with Doctar Cann.

“Managing an artiste is difficult and if you don’t have the courage and patience, you can’t do so.

It might happen that Stonebwoy’s bad side is his quick temper. You need someone who can tame that temper of his. With that, we do not put it in one person’s hands. You need to find someone he can really vibe with.

Every human being is manageable. It is just that some of these artistes have not had the right people to manage them”,he explained.

Kojo related that the issue is not limited to only artistes as he has had experiences with people with quick temper in his field of work.

He advised, “if we have identified that our brother Stonebwoy has temper issues, lets help and find a solution to the problem. Those close to him must make sure he doesn’t face certain issues directly”.

He was confident that with the needed help, Stonebwoy can make a change when it comes to controlling his temper.

Citing an example of how that will be possible, he made mention of Canadian musician Justin Bieber and how his journey of self-control has been successful.

“A notable example is musician Justin Bieber who was once wild . But now, he is quiet because somebody is controlling him”, he added.

Kojo Preko stressed, “Lets agree to the fact that Stonebwoy has anger issues and we must do things that will help him”.

There have been several reports that dancehall musician, Stonebwoy had assaulted Angel, the manager of rapper Sarkodie.

According to some of the reports, the incident occurred on Monday, August 10, at the final rehearsal and pre-recording for Sarkodie’s Black Love virtual concert which will be aired on Sunday, August 16.

The cause of the assault is not clear as many news portals gave different reports on what really ensued.
