Chief Executive Offficer of Division One campaigners Techiman City FC has impressed upon the Ethics Committee of the Ghana Football Association to summon Yaw Boateng Gyan for making damning allegations against the Referees Committee.
According to Yaw Boateng Gyan, who is also the Board Member of Division One side Bofoakwa Tano, Ghana football is dying because some club owners influence the Referees Committee to give them their favorite referees for games.
Speaking on Happy FM‘s Wamputu Sports, Kofi Manu suggests he must be hauled before the Ethics Committee so that he can throw more light on the allegations.
“If indeed Yaw Boateng Gyan said some club owners influence the Referees Committee to give them their favourite referees for matches, then he must be hauled before the Ethics committee of the GFA because it is a big indictment on the committee.” Kofi Manu noted on Happy FM.
The zone one of the the Division One league is fraught with a litany of controversy and litigation.
