Lawyers Abraham Amaliba and Maurice Ampaw have reacted to His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa’s speech at the Ghana Bar’s Association’s conference by saying that the president sought to vindicate himself rather than tackle the issue of corruption in Ghana.

The two lawyers spoke on separate interviews on the “Epahoa Daben” show with Nana Afrifa Mensah as the host. Lawyer Abraham Amaliba expressed his view by saying: “Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo defended himself rather than tackle the issue. Under his administration, we have lost it as a country”.

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw, on the other hand, said: “From the president’s body language at the conference, one could tell he was in pain because of the corruption allegations against his government. He however defended himself rather than telling us how he will fight corruption.”
