Minister of Information and Spokesperson of government’s Transition Team, Fatimatu Abubakar has debunked claims that, government is making last- minute recruitments into ministries and agencies.

According to her, the comments circulating on social media came to her as a surprise as nothing of such
is happening. “I was soo surprised when I heard those comments, in fact I couldn’t believe my eyes if there were any formal statements, until I realised that some interviews were granted that did not reflect the meetings that were held last Wednesday”

Speaking to the media, she mentioned that, there has not been any recruitment by the government after the NPP lost the elections. “There is no recruitment which is new after we lost the elections” .
