Togbe Afede XIV donates GH 100K to Ho Hospitals to fight Coronavirus

Hearts of Oak Board chairman Togbe Afede XIV has joined in the fight against the coronavirus outbreak in the country and has donated cash and equipment to the Ho Teaching Hospital and the Ho Municipal Hospital.

The President for the National House of Chiefs donated hand sanitizers and cash worth GHc 100,000 to battle the Covid-19 which is currently on the rise in the country.

The Ho Teaching Hospital received GH¢60,000 with hand sanitizers and the Ho Municipal Hospital given GH¢40,000 in addition
Other communities in the Asogli state were also given over GHC2,200 hand sanitizers.

Ghana has currently recorded 132 cases as of March 26, 2020, with three people confirmed dead.
Meanwhile, football stars have also joined the campaign to fight the deadly coronavirus.

Jonathan Mensah, Harrison Afful, David Accam who ply their trade in the Major League Soccer (MLS) also made donations to orphanages during this outbreak.

Turkish based Joseph Attamah Lawreah on Wednesday donated toiletries, beverages and healthcare items to orphans at the Rerma Tema Children’s home and the Nungua Children’s home.

General Captain of the Black Stars Asamoah Gyan, also embarked on an exercise to create awareness on staying safe and shared hand sanitizers with Ghanaians as part of the campaign to fight the virus.
