Transport fares are expected to go down by 15.3% effective today, Monday, December 19, 2022.
The reduction, according to Road Transport Operators covers shared taxis, Intra-city (Trotro), Intercity (Long distance), and haulage.
Commercial Transport Operators have been asked to comply with the new fares and post same at their loading terminals.
The last review saw a 19% upward adjustment in transport fares.
