The long wait is over, as Ghana’s premium urban radio brand, YFM has introduced an all-new and revolutionary promising entertainment television channel, YTV.

The youth centric entertainment channel promises to provide viewers with the best of viewing experience, creating programming setting them apart and blazing the trail for others to follow.

YTV promises to be the hub for movie buffs to first enjoy record breaking box office movies, new music releases from their favorite artistes, exclusive celebrity interviews and more. YTV will be the nation’s curator of the most talked about events in the country, ensuring its viewers do not miss a thing from their favorite events and concerts.

YTV, the brand for the youth will be all inclusive in its programming, taking into consideration the views of viewers in creating the best of entertainment, with audience of the Y-Triangle converging on one platform.

Director of Broadcasting at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company (GMABC), Timothy Karikari describes the launch of YTV as crucial in promoting and pushing the Ghanaian entertainment and creative scene unto a higher global stage.

“Admittedly there are a number of entertainment television channels in the country, but YTV is here to cause radical change and revolutionize the space in the way and manner various players in the space have dreamed about. We are here to realize those dreams and also elevate the Ghanaian creative scene to a whole near level.

The launch of YTV as a channel will set a new wave of distinct urban life that aligns with the youth populace”.
