Jerry Jarnald, head of partnerships with VEO, Asante Kotoko’s video technology partners has opined that, the VEO hardware and software to be used by Kumasi Asante Kotoko will in the long run help make the various national teams strong.

The porcupine warriors earlier this month announced a partnership agreement with the top technology firm where the company is expected to secure super high-quality footage of Kotoko’s academy and first team during matches for analyses using its portable and affordable AI based video recorder.

Speaking on the benefits this technology will be for Kotoko in an exclusive interview with Stephen Zando on Kumasi based YFM, head of partnerships at VEO Technologies, Jerry Jarnald added, Ghana national teams will in the long run benefit from the technology.

“We will provide Asante Kotoko stars with the hardware and how to use the VEO software in the maximum type of way.” He said.

“We will also present some used case which might help them to develop football in western Africa because Kotoko is the biggest club in West Africa.”

“If they can develop football and get a better base to choose from and with bigger and better talent pool, they will become a stronger club and in the long run also, the national teams will become stronger and more players can move abroad”. He added.

The porcupine warriors have joined a growing list of football clubs to partner the company including, Manchester City, Leicester City, Chelsea FC, AS Roma, Barcelona’s Academy among others.
