VIDEO: Blay’s 275 buses against 55 ambulances for nation foolishness – Kwaw Kese

Hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese, has fumed at Freddie Blay and Politicians placing their personal interest at the expense of the welfare of citizens.
It is “stupidity” and “foolishness” to import 275 brand new buses for a political party when the whole of Ghana is grappling with just 55 ambulances, hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese, has fumed.

In a video posted on his Facebook page, Kwaw Kese said: “It is stupidity and foolishness that a political party will be buying 275 buses for its activities at a time the nation is struggling with just 55 ambulances. God should continue punishing Ghana, and our leaders must start dying one by one.

“Go to Korle-Bu’s emergency ward and see how patients are suffering over lack of ambulances, yet politicians are able to raise money to buy buses for their activities.”

His comments follow the purchase of 275 buses by the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay, for his party.

Hundreds of those buses have arrived in the country with the remaining expected soon.

Touching on the funding for the buses, Mr Blay told journalists on Wednesday, 4 July 2018 that: “A financial institution is helping us”.

“We’re taking a bank facility to do so. It’s self-paying… We do so for and for every constituency. It’s not about if they vote for me first before I do it. The buses are in the country. They’re in the harbour.”
