The launch of Shatta Wale’s latest album, “The Reign” came with a lot of surprises that only the dancehall musician can explain.
Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale pulled off one of the biggest surprises of his life when he went down his knees to propose to his longtime girlfriend Shatta Michy.
In front of the over 10,000-packed venue and their two kids – including their son, Majesty – Shatta Wale called out the name of the mother of his son and proposed to her.
After performing their joint song, ‘Low Tempo’ together, Shatta Wale paused in the middle of the performance for a few seconds to interact with their fans.
The pair has not been on good terms in recent months since breaking up earlier this year. However, the album launch presented the perfect opportunity for them to put everything behind them and to reconcile.
It is however unclear when the two will officially walk down the aisle.
The ‘Reign’ concert and album launch was held, Saturday, at the Fantasy Dome. The event attracted thousands of music enthusiasts and fans. Aside Shatta Wale and Michy, The Militants, Xylo, Smokey Beatz and Efe Keyz were among artistes who graced the stage.
