Hearts of Oak board member, Nyaho Tamakloe has told Happy Sports that the team is not moving out of their traditional home, the Accra Sports Stadium as hinted by the National Supporters Chief, Elvis Herman Hesse.

The Phobians have been poor at home this season in the Ghana Premier League with just two wins.

The team struggled last Sunday against Elmina Sharks on match day 12 which saw a lot of agitations and protest from the fans after the game ended in a draw.

Hearts of Oak Supporters Chief in an interview told Happy 98.9FM that the team may consider relocating from the stadium if results at home do not improve.

Nyaho Tamakloe has quashed those reports and said the team will remain at the Accra Sports Stadium for the rest of the season.

“Accra Sports Stadium has been our ground for years since the stadium was built over 70 years ago. We are not moving out of this place”, he told Happy FM.

“Most of these supporters have no idea on how football is run or organized.

“So it’s not every match that a team will win. If there are few instances that results have been bad that does not warrant the supporters to attack players or coach and other management members.

“Very soon they will see a big change in our performance. It’s time they put a stop to these things”, he concluded.
