The MP for Tema Central, who doubles as the Board Chairman of the Tema Development Corporation (TDC), Kofi Brako, has revealed that the completion of the phases 1 to 3 of the TDC affordable housing project was made possible through the corporation’s internally generated funds, and not  government resources.
Speaking during the inspection of works at Phase 4 and the official commissioning of Phases 1 to 3 of the TDC affordable housing project on Monday, November 25, Mr. Brako commended the management team of TDC for their resilience in overcoming the numerous challenges faced in bringing the project to fruition.
He noted that the project, which was started in 2006, had remained stagnant under the previous NDC administration but with the leadership of President Akufo-Addo and the current government, it was finally completed.
He stressed the importance of continued support for the ruling government to ensure the completion of ongoing projects and the successful development of Tema. He emphasized that the future of the area depends on strong leadership and commitment to development, underscoring that the next phase of the project should not be left unfinished.
