Yaw Sarpong, one of Ghana’s legendary gospel musicians, has revealed that he has a song coming out to help educate people in the fight against Covid-19.

Yaw Sarpong told Pastor Nyansa Boakwa in a studio interview on Nsem Pii which airs on Happy 98.9 FM, that he does not exactly sit down and decide to write songs but with the current Coronavirus situation, he received a call from one government official asking him to put together a song on it.
“He told me he wants me to record a song concerning this pandemic because when I talk to people, they tend to listen”, Yaw Sarpong shared.
According to him, his mind was far from the Covid-19 situation but after hearing that from the man, he was inspired.

Mr. Sarpong hinted that he has already started recording the song with his co-vocalist, Tiwaa, whose voice is recognized in most of his songs. Hopefully, the song should be ready by next week and will be put out to help in educating the public about the virus.
