Ghana’s number one and youth centric radio station Y107.9FM teams up with The African Union Hall, widely known as Penthall of the University of Ghana to mark the 2020 edition of their trailblazing hall week celebrations.

Dubbed ‘ALOHA’ which means love, peace and compassion, the 2020 Penthall week celebration which started on 23rd February, 2020 will be highlighted by the Global Media Alliance (GMA) group and its subsidiary, YFM as they take students through a series of workshops and other entertaining activities.

Identifying the various internal conflicts most students face in choosing career paths, GMA has thought it wise to provide career advice to these students during their career day fair. As the springboard for the careers of most industry players in the country, GMA on Tuesday, 25, February, 2020 will offer its expert advice to these students which will set them up for life in the various fields they find themselves in.

The award winning tertiary radio show Y Campus Express (YCE) hosted by Rev Erskine will go live with an Outdoor Broadcast (OB) on February, 29, 2020 and take advantage of the Pent Hall Week to interact and thrill students with some amazing music and exciting activities.

Programmes Manager at Y107.9FM Eddy Blay had this to say: “This special edition of the YCE show will have activities like the YCE Cypher, a PlayStation 4 competition, performances from some talented artistes amongst other fun filled activities.

According to him, it is really great to take the radio experience from the studios and share it with its audience, especially students. “We are not only going to have immense fun with our fan base on Legon campus. We as a station have been focusing on student related topics and issues which need to be addressed and the Pent Hall week celebration is a great platform to engage with them,” he said.

He later encouraged students not to shy away from the YFM stand which will be set up from Thursday, 27th February to Saturday 29th February, 2020.
