Ghanaian socialite and politician, John Setor Dumelo has questioned the performance of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as Vice President of Ghana.

Dumelo ragingly took to his page on X to rate the performance of the Vice President after he, condemned the 24hour economy policy proposed by the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama.

According to the entrepreneur, all flagship programs proposed and supported by the New Patriotic Party have failed together with all other initiatives that were propelled by Dr. Bawumia. “All those flagship policies have failed. The dams have evaporated, the free SHS has caused more problems than solutions and the factories have shut down or sacked its workers.”

He submitted that Ghanaians have been shortchanged for years and the present fundamentals of the economy indicate it. “There’s no break the 8; it’s ‘fake’ the 8. You have faked Ghanaians for almost 8 years and the fundamentals of the economy have exposed you.”

On Monday, November 20 2023, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia embarked on a regional tour to the Nothern dubbed as ‘Tour To The North’ where he criticised the 24-hour economy policy proposed by National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama. He added that various sectors of the economy, such as healthcare, security services, and digital transactions, already operate 24 hours due to the digitalisation agenda he has championed since 2017.
