Monday, November 11, 2024, marks the birthday of one time CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup champions Accra Hearts of Oak.

Founded on November 11, 1911 in Ghana’s capital city, Accra Hearts of Oak is 113th years old.

Nicknamed Phobians, Hearts of Oak pride themselves as the continental club masters and the biggest club in Ghana.

The Phobians were the first football club to win both the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup in 2000 and 2005 respectively.

“113 years. Countless memories. One proud club. Today, we celebrate our legacy, and we’re just getting started!”

“From our first match to our latest victory, we’ve always played for you. Thanks to everyone who’s been part of this incredible journey!” Part of Hearts of Oak’s statement read.
