Jordan Ayew set to rake first start for Swansea City against Burnley

Luciano Narsingh and Jordan Ayew are both in line to start for Swansea City in their huge Premier League clash with Burnley at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.
The duo, who both joined the club in the January transfer window, are yet to start a match for Paul Clement’s side, although former PSV Eindhoven winger Narsingh already has two assists to his name after setting up goals for Gylfi Sigurdsson against Southampton and Manchester City.
Ayew, meanwhile, has two substitute outings against Leicester and Chelsea under his belt since his arrival from Aston Villa.
Clement has largely stuck with the same starting XI for much of his time at the helm, but suggested he could be ready to throw one of, or both, of the pair into action when Swansea look to capitalise on facing a Burnley side with a dire away record.
“Luciano is pushing, we will have to see whether that is this weekend but he is training hard and pushing for a start, as is Jordan Ayew,” said Clement.
The Swans head coach has had Jefferson Montero and Ki Sung-yueng return to training ahead of the Liberty meeting with the Clarets, following hamstring and knee injuries respectively.
But the 45-year-old confirmed the duo are being considered for the game away at Hull next week, rather than for the meeting with Sean Dyche’s side.

“He had had a lengthy hamstring injury, he has done very well in rehab, pushed hard to get back and he has re-joined full training but this weekend will be too soon for him,” said Clement of Montero.
“Ki is continuing with his rehab, he is doing individual work. Nathan Dyer is long-term injury absentee, but everyone else is fit and available.”
