Soaring Ghana Division One League campaigners, Phar Rangers Football Club have appointed Dr. Kofi Amoa-Abban to the board of the club.
Dr. Kofi Amoa-Abban is an oil and gas magnate and founder of Rigworld International Services, an oil services business with operations across West Africa.
The young but vastly experienced business mogul complements the already existing array of astute individuals who are serving as board members of Phar Rangers FC who are making their debut in the second tier.
The multiple award winning CEO recently received the GUBA Black Star award for Young Oil and Gas Entrepreneur at the 2017 GUBA Awards.
Dr Abban, prior to the GUBA Award, had received the award for the Most Extraordinary Entrepreneur at 2016 Tema Excellence Awards, the Rising Star at the 2016 Exclusive Men of the Year awards (EMY) and CEO of the Year award and the Oil and Gas Personality of the year Award at the 2016 Oil and Gas Ghana Awards.
President of the Phar Rangers, Nana Yaw Amponsah reiterates that the structures of the club coupled with their direction and vision is undaunted.
Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan was recently named as the Honorary President of the club while business mogul S.K Boafo joined the board of the club.
