2018 VGMA Artiste of the Year Award “not a sympathy award”- Bullet

The biggest night in the Ghanaian music industry, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2018 has climaxed in Accra, with the late Ebony Reigns winning the biggest award of the night-VGMA Artiste of the year 2018.
In addition the “sponsor” hitmaker won two other awards for Afro pop song of the year as well as beating Stonebwoy’s “Epistles of Mama” to win Album of the year
CEO of Ruff Town records and manager of the late Ebony Reigns, who was full of emotions after receiving the award on behalf of the late Ebony alongside her parents emphasized that Ebony deserved the award.
“Ebony victory wasn’t based on Sympathy, she really deserved to win, ” Bullet stated after picking the award.
Last year’s Artist of the year winner Joe Mettle took home the award for Gospel Song Of The Year Category with his hit song, “Boo Noo Ni”.
Kwasi Arthur the young rapper on the block took Hip-hop song of the year with his song, “Grind Day”.
Whiles Samini was adjudged as the winner of 2018 VGMA Reggae Dancehall song of the year with his hit song, “My Own”,
Adina cemented her status as female vocal diva after winning the female vocalist of the year consecutively
