2019/20 GPL: Asante Kotoko lose again as Hearts hold WAFA at Sogakope

Asante Kotoko suffered their second defeat of the season against Medeama at the Akoon Park on match day four of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

The game ended 1-0 in a favor of the Mauve and Yellow.

Prince Opoku Agyemang scored the only goal of the game to register his fourth goal of the season in this clash against the Porcupine Warriors.

Augustine Okrah got the chance to pull parity for the Porcupine Warriors but shot his ball straight into the hands of the goalkeeper Richard Ofori

Yacouba last effort also hit the woodwork which denied Asante Kotoko’s chance to get the equalizer.

Medeama have accrued 10 points after this win after three wins and one draw this season.

Hearts 0-0 WAFA

At the Sogakope Red Bull arena, Hearts of Oak held WAFA to a goalless draw at home.

The Phobians picked their first away one point of the season against WAFA.

Hearts now have four points after match day four in the ongoing league.

Berekum Chelsea recorded another win at the Golden City Park in Berekum. Chelsea pip Dreams in this match day four fixture to continue their impressive season.
