The MTN Invitational tournament comes off this Saturday, November 21, 2020, at the Celebrity Golf Club.

The theme of this year’s event is ” MTN Business, Your One-Stop -Shop For All ICT Solutions”

This will be the only golf tournament for the year being organized by the telecommunication giants amid the coronavirus pandemic which will be held strictly in adherence with the COVID-19 protocols.

Over 100 golfers from across the various clubs in the country are expected to participate in this year’s competition.

The competition will be played over 18 holes (Stable Ford) in accordance with the rules of golf as by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and with the local rules of the Celebrity Golf Club as approved by the Competition Committee.

According to the organizers, golfers stand to win handsome prizes packages and products donated by the sponsor.

The event will be in honour of the memory of Prof Jacob Plange Rhule, a former MTN Board member and an ardent golfer and a member of the club whose unfortunate demise occurred earlier this year.

The mobile telecommunications giant, MTN Ghana has over the years used the sport as conduits to engage with Enterprise and high-value customers to share ideas, network and as well reward customer loyalty.
