2021 AFCON Q: Akonnor names strong starting line up to face Sao Tome

Black Stars coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor has named a strong starting line up to face Sao Tome and Principe in the final game of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Akonnor made four changes to his starting line up that played against South Africa in Johannesburg on Thursday.

Black Stars captain Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey and Osman Bukari have been named in today’s line up to face Sao Tome.

Afriyie Acquah, Kwame Opoku, Caleb Ekuban and Emmanuel Gyasi are the players who drop to the bench after starting the game against South Africa.

The Black Stars have already qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be staged in Cameroon next year.
