2022 World Cup playoff: Check out Black Stars players in camp for Nigeria clash

The Black Stars of Ghana have opened camp ahead of their crucial World Cup playoff against Nigeria this week.

Ghana coach Otto Addo and his technical team arrived in the country to begin preparations with the team for the two-legged encounter against The Super Eagles.

With the Ghana FA yet to announce the squad for the doubleheader, Happy Sports can confirm some of the players have arrived in camp and others expected to join the team by close of day.

The players in camp are: Jojo Wollacot, Thomas Partey, Christopher Antwi-Adjei, Dennis Korsah, Edmund Addo, Andy Yiadom, Joseph Aidoo, Gideon Mensah, Yaw Yeboah, Alexander Djiku, Majeed Waris, Felix Afena-Gyan, Joseph Paintsil, Danlad Ibrahim, Fatawu Issahaku and Dauda Mohammed.

Coach Otto Addo will be a expecting a full house by close of the day before the team embarks on it journey to Kumasi on Tuesday.

Ghana host Nigeria in the first leg of the 2022 World Cup playoff at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on March 25, 2022.

The second leg will come off at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on March 29, 2022.

The two West Africa football powerhouse will be battling it out for one of the five tickets to represent Africa at the 2022 World Cup to be staged in Qatar.
