Head coach of Ghana’s Futsal team, Philip Boakye, has expressed confidence in the team’s ability to qualify from Group A in the 2024 AFCON Futsal tournament in Morocco. The team is set to face Zambia, Morocco, and Angola in the group stage.

In an interview with Ohene Bampoe Brenya on Happy Sports, Coach Boakye stated that the team’s level of preparedness, has been impressive and they are poised to perform well in the competition. He assured Ghanaians that the team will qualify from the group stage.

“I can assure Ghanaians that by the time we are done with all our games, we will qualify out of our group because looking at the level of preparations the boys have put in ahead of the tournament, the team is poised”

The team is currently in Morocco, where they recently played a friendly match against Raja Casablanca, winning the game 5-4 in a remarkable comeback. The tournament will take place in Rabat, Morocco, from April 8th to 17th, 2024.
