” Mr Speaker, we have a crucial parliamentary and presidential elections on 7 December , it’s not Just the electoral commission, the IGP together with interior minister must also come to this House, because MPs will be in their constituencies to battle for their seats and presidency during recess. Therefore they must address as on their readiness”.

The Tamale South legislature, indicated that the electoral commission should let Parliament know its financial requirements for the conduct of the general elections before the Mid-year budget review.
