The Black Stars will open camp in Accra on Monday, March 17, 2025, ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifying games against Chad and Madagascar.

The team will hold four days of training at the Accra Sports Stadium before taking on their Chadian counterparts on Friday, March 21.

Ghana will play host to Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium before traveling to Morocco to face Madagascar on March 24, 2024.

For the first time this year, the West African powerhouse are regrouping for the crucial qualifying games following AFCON 2025 qualification setback last November.

Coach Otto Addo summoned 23 players for the two upcoming games, with only three local players making the cut. The players are expected to report to camp on Monday to begin preparations for the matches.

Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo and goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott have already arrived in Ghana for the matches.

Having missed out on AFCON 2025, the Black Stars will be hoping to restore national pride when they take on Chad and Madagascar in a must-win clash.

The Black Stars are currently second in Group I with nine points, level with leaders Comoros. The team must secure maximum points to strengthen their qualification bid for the biggest soccer mundial to be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico next year.
