English Premiership side Swansea City have made a bid of £500,000 for Barnsley defender Andy Yiadom.
According to the Sun, Swansea manager Paul Clement is not eager to pay more than £500,000 for the Ghanaian guardsman, as Barnsley have set a price tag of £2 million on the player.
The 26-year-old made 33 appearances in the 2016-17 English Championship season, and has emerged as a top target for numerous Premiership sides including Burnley who have also shown interest in the player’s capture.
Further reports indicates that, Swansea City may be willing to add Scottish striker Oliver McBurnie to the deal either on a season-long loan or as a straight swap in order to get Yiadom at the Liberty Stadium.
Yiadom, was a member of Ghana’s squad that placed fourth at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
