PJ MOZEY WRITES: When Will "The JONAH" At GFA Throw Himself Into The Sea Amidst The Storm?

As a Nationalist, I have been thinking to ascertain the RATIO as to why Ghana has always been the NEAR TEAM since 2005.
We always see Canaan but we’re unable to land there: Black Stars in Angola 2010, Equatorial Guinea 2015 and 2010 World Cup in South Africa are my references. CHAN 2009 and 2014 in Ivory Coast and South Africa respectively, can’t be left out.
I don’t want to talk about the finals that our our Satellites and Starlets have lost. But within this 12-year period, everything connected to our game either DIRECTLY or INDIRECTLY has been changed EXCEPT ONE CONSTANT KEY FACTOR.
We have seen changes at the level of Presidency as a Republic, we have changed Ministers at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, we have changed Vice Presidents of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), we have seen many changes at Emergency and Executive Committees of the GFA, we have changed Black Stars Management Committee Chairmen as well as chairmen of all other national teams, we have changed spokespersons of the GFA, we have changed General Secretaries of the GFA, we have changed the coaching staff of all our national teams and we have made  several changes in the playing body.
There are changes in the following realms which may be regarded as OBITER DICTA but very persuasive: Changes at the supporters front, change of the Black Stars Bus and its Driver, change of the entertainer of the Black Stars and the security personnel of all our national teams, inter alia.
Despite these changes, the constant factor which is the PRESIDENT of the GFA has not been changed for the past 12 years and counting. From my Christian background, I know it is God who makes Kings. God made Saul and David great kings but towards the end of their reigns, they lost the FAVOUR of God due to their act of omissions and commissions.
The GFA President has done a lot towards the development of our game in the past 12 years but there is no perfect situation.  Just as no Machine is 100% efficient, he has got his challenges within the period. In my view, it’s about time the GFA President said goodbye to Ghana Football and concentrated on his international duties (WAFU Zone B President, 1st CAF Vice President, FIFA Council Member) and left the local scene for someone else to continue. It will be in the GFA Capo’s interest to be remembered for what he did FOR the FA and not what he did TO the FA.
Just as it is written in Jonah 1:12, Jonah says “Pick me up and throw me into the sea and it will become calm. I know that it is my fault that this great storm has come upon you.” Again, John 11:50 says “it is better for one man to die for the people than a whole nation to perish.”
My great grand father, Antwi Boasiako sacrificed his life for the people of Ashanti to be saved. So can’t the GFA President resign to save Ghana Football from dying? Mr GFA President, I humbly urge you to be like NELSON MANDELA and ALEX FERGUSON and NOT like SEPP BLATTER, ISSAH HAYATOU & ARSENE WENGER.
A word to the wise…
