Ghana’s chief football scout, Ebenezer Sefah, has lauded the exploits of Liberty Professionals’ linchpin Latif Blessing following his supreme form throughout the season, culminating in his scooping of the top scorer award.
Ebenezer Sefah, known widely as Coach Eben was awed by the blistering performance exhibited by the diminutive play-maker who prior to the start of the league season, had told Happy FM in an interview that he was going to edge past returnee Yahaya Mohammed for the top scorer award.
Speaking to HappyGhana.com, Coach Eben further chose the nimble-footed attacker as his player of the season ahead of Wa All Stars Emmanuel Ocran and Kwesi Donsu of Medeama SC.
“I salute Latif Blessing. In fact I doff my hat for him following his amazing performance which has led to him winning the top scorer award with seventeen goals. Before the start of the season, he challenged Yahaya Mohammed to who was going to come up tops and in the end, he did that against the huge favourite. ” Coach Eben said.
He also praised Yahaya Mohammed for giving his best since returning to the Premier League for the eventual league runners-up, Aduana Stars.
