Shatta Wale stoned, pelted with with water bottles during Sukura Concert

Shatta Wale’s spiky beef with fellow musicians and ‘haters’ is yet to come to an end.

The highly patronised ‘Loud in Shukura’ concert held in Shukura, a suburb of Accra, on Sunday, September 10, didn’t end as planned, according to a witness who spoke to Pulse.
The self-acclaimed ‘King of Ghana Dancehall’, was at the centre of drama yet again at the concert, thus, he tasted the wrath of some enraged fans.
According to the witness, Shatta Wale arrived at the event ground on time and as such, he wanted to perform early and leave for other appointments but that didn’t eventuate.
Instead, fellow Dancehall musicians, Rudebwoy Ranking, D-Sherif and Bastero, who are also his rivals, took over the stage to perform – and probably wasted his time.
The witness, who saw the programme line-up, said Shatta Wale was supposed to perform after Bastero but Wale’s team member, known as Blade, obstructed Bastero’s the performance.
Immediately Bastero left the stage, Militants’ group member and Shatta Wale’s signee, Addi Self, was introduced. Pulse is told that during his performance, fans booed him and started throwing stones and water bottles at him on the stage.
Shatta Wale was then introduced to the stage and according to the witness, he warned the fans to stop throwing stones and water bottles and even threatened to charge his fans to beat anyone who is spotted in the act.

And, after his performance, the show came to an abrupt end even though he wasn’t the last performer.

A few hours after the show, Bastero took to Facebook to express his joy over the stones and water bottles thrown at Shatta Wale and even fired more shots at him.
He wrote (unedited): “First, I’ll say thanks to the whole #shukura for the love and support even when I couldn’t perform after the #mic was handed over to me,pu**y claim champion but scared, this isn’t the first time.. ,you did the same thing to me @ #skybar I respected you as an elder and a leader but trust me it doesn’t suit you anymore, I’m one of the youths who never thought of disrespecting you not to talk of doing a diss #song but you call for it believe me am not as cool as you think pu**y, you said the youth got to raise so why do you fight we when we raising lol greediness at it best #bigshame #shattawale practice what you preach . The whole Shukura witnessed my sounds was set #mic was handed over to me you flopped me bcos you thought you would be a hero…(dem no stone you well) #bigtimesnitch kawaii #actiontym..
