Public Relations manager for the Ayews, Fiifi Tackie has disclosed that both Jordan Ayew and Andre unperturbed following their exclusion from the Black Stars squad for the double-header against Uganda and Saudi Arabia.
According Fiifi Tackie who is also the publicist of the Ayews, the duo have offered their unflinching support to the team and pray for them to win the crunch game against Uganda as they did in Congo.
Speaking on Happy FM‘s Anopa Bosuo Sports Wednesday, Fiifi intimated that the Ayews are very much aware that the Black Stars is open to every Ghanaian player who gets selected by the coach so they are fine and concentrating on their club careers now until the coach deems it appropriate to recall them.
“The boys are fine and they are not worried about being dropped from the Black Stars for these games. They are strongly behind the team as they always have. They love the national team and they will continue to support the team and avail themselves for any future call ups. They are certain that the team will win in Uganda and they are praying for that and offering their unflinching support to the team. As to why they were dropped from the squad, the coach will be the best person to say it. The most important thing now is that they haven’t been dropped from their club sides. In fact they will play against each other on Saturday so it’s a game we are looking out.” Fiifi Tackie told Happy FM.
Both Jordan and Andre Ayew were axed from the Black Stars provisional squad for the crunch 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uganda and a friendly international against Saudi Arabia.
