King Faisal FC president Alhaji Grunsah has backed Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi’s decision not to seek re-election in 2019 after the expiration of his tenure.
Speaking on Happy FM, the maverick sports administrator asserted that Nyantakyi has taken the best decision and will only wish becomes CAF president in the near future.
“Nyantakyi has made a good decision. He has done a lot for Ghana football and somebody needs to take over from him. God has blessed him to get CAF and FIFA positions. I am only praying that he becomes CAF president before I join my ancestors.”
He again stressed that, they will analyze anybody who wants to succeed Nyantakyi in 2019 by the person’s manifesto and his or her CV.
“We will judge the person by his CV, human relations and what he will write in his manifesto so those who want to succeed Nyantakyi as FA president should come out clear with their blueprints.” Alhaji Grunsah indicated.
He finally pleaded with football people to focus on the juvenile game.
“I will plead with football people to pay attention to Colts football because all the Regional FA Chairmen have collapsed Juvenile football.” He told Happy FM.
