Edward Entee, formerly of the Multimedia Group, has joined the Mediamark Ghana family as the Business Development Manager, effective 1st October, 2017.
Edward becomes the first person to hold that position in Mediamark Ghana – the 1st subsidiary of Mediamark South Africa within the West African sub-region. A happily married man with three kids, Edward comes to the position with a plethora of experience and educational qualifications.
Before this position, Edward worked with the Multimedia Group for 13 years – 9 years as a Sales Manager for Adom FM as well as Head of Sales for Accra Radio and Interactive Media, and on numerous occasions, he has also acted as the Chief Operating Officer whenever the need arose.  Prior to these responsibilities, he also worked as a consultant for Sweet Melodies and Top FM, and also did a brief stint at XYZ Broadcasting as a consultant for sales.
Edward holds a 1st Class in Marketing and MBA in Marketing from the University of Ghana Business School. He is currently a PhD candidate in Information Systems and enjoys research in Social Media and social networks business strategy.
Concerning his new appointment, Mr. Entee stated “I am a firm believer in pushing myself and the people around me to become the best versions of themselves. I am therefore truly excited to join the team and look forward to working with them to reach great heights within our market and beyond”.
Barely two years old in the Ghanaian market, Mediamark Ghana is known for being the home of some of the most talented Media Sales specialists, with advanced systems and innovative media solutions to meet clients’ needs. The company is also well recognized for their ingenious client engagement events and activations including their creatively exciting Trade Drops and their pioneering Thought Leader Series.
Mediamark Ghana represents a range of major radio, television, digital and eventing media channels. These include e.tv Ghana, a free-to-air terrestrial television network, YFM, a youth-based radio brand with separate broadcasts in Accra, Takoradi and Kumasi and Happy FM, a popular, sports-focused talk radio station.
