Brogya Genfi, Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the main National Democratic Congress (NDC) has cautioned Ghanaians to be wary of the activities of Joseph Anokye, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) National Communications Authority (NCA) in the country.
According him, Mr. Anokye is a character that has the tendency of shutting down radio stations while the Electoral Commission announces provisional results for the upcoming elections in 2020.
He noted that the shutting down of some radio stations under his watch was a tea in the storm cup but come 2020 elections Ghanaians will see the true colours of the NCA Boss.
He alleged that Mr Anokye was the man behind the hacking of the Electoral Commission’s website during the last crucial elections that brought Nana Addo into power.
The aspiring National Youth Organizer of the NDC made  this revelations on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show hosted by Kwame Afrifa Mensah on Accra-based Happy FM.
He said the NCA CEO was behaving arbitrary in the management of the national frequency spectrum management, adding that when Montie FM was closed down, the management of the station wrote a cheque to NCA.
He says interestingly, NCA refused to accept the cheque saying the time for payment had passed.
