A communications team member of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Genfi has challenged the capacity of Sammy Awuku as the Board Chairman of Youth Employment Authority (YEA).
Mr. Genfi contested that Sammy Awuku lacks the capacity to chair the Board of YEA.
He said the appointment of Sammy Awuku as the Board chair for the entity for employing the youth is a walking illegality that must be contested in the courts.
According to him, he Sammy Awuku lacks the professional experience to chair a Board like YEA.
He says Sammy Awuku should shut up and allow the management of YEA to do their job before somebody decides to drag him in capacity as such before the courts.
He said per the standards for chairing Boards in the country, Mr. Awuku does not meet the qualifications.
He added that for one to become a Board chairman a certain criteria of experience are needed but Sammy Awuku lacks that experience.
Mr Sammy Genfi, made call reacting to a statement by Sammy Awuku that Mahama bought motorbikes for 15,000 each on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ afternoon socio-political show hosted by Kwame Afrifa Mensah on Accra-based Happy FM.
He cautioned Sammy Awuku to allow the officers of YEA to do their job and desist from the periodic holding of press conferences on behalf of YEA.
