Ghanaian traditional musician king Ayisoba known for his unique style of music has prevailed on the government to legalize “marijuana”.
The “I want to see you my father” hit maker made this revelation on Accra-based Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra hosted by Doctar Cann on the Punchlines Segment.
Ayisoba who learnt how to play the “kologo” (a traditional two stringed guitar) from his grandfather, a traditional healer stated that the Government must legalize “wee” a local word for marijuana in the country.
According to him, there is nothing wrong with it.
The multiple award winner at the Ghana Music Awards  in 2007 added, “If I had my own way, I will encourage people to smoke marijuana in Ghana.
Now you find youth at every drinking spot in Ghana, drinking and becoming wasted each and every day and later turning into Junkies,” he indicated.
The popular traditional music artiste King Ayisoba who sings in Frafra, Twi and in English finally stated, I will continue to say that, Jamaicans are the world best marijuana smokers but, the number of junkies there, are less than that of Ghana so i will plead on behalf of the Marijuana smokers for Government to legalize it for us,” he clarified.
King Ayisoba was born in June 1975 at Bongo near Bolgatanga, in the Upper East Region of Ghana and he is one of the most respected musician in the country.
